Nur Wachid Hidayat's name is actually not his full name, when he was born his parents gave him the name Nur Wachid Hidayatur Rofi 'Rofi'atul Huda. Feeling it doesn't suit him as the name is too long, then he shortens his name in just three sentences. Wahid was born in the city of Jepara on October 1, 1995 which coincided with the 7th of Jumada al - Ula 1416 H, Nur Wachid was the first child of the couple Moch. Sholikhul Huda and Rofiah. His father was a Koran teacher as well as his mother teaches students privately.

At the age of 6, he began his education career at the basic level, it is Muhammadiyah 2 Elementary School Sidoarjo, which is in the village of Jetis. One of the first teachers is his own sister. He finished completing elementary school in the 2007 / 2008 period and got a diploma.  

After that, Nur Wachid continued the next level at a boarding school, which is already known as Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, in the city of Ponorogo, East Java. It was there that he became "santri" (student of islamic boarding school) and studied for 6 years, in Pondok Modern, a lot of professional expertise gained became a provision for him, to become a person who was beneficial to the ummah. And here also he learned everything that exists, like Arabic and English and even those 2 languages ​​are required in daily life, many changes in attitudes that he felt during studying at the boarding school, mentality became more extraordinary, and of course personally became more mature.

After completing his education at Pondok in the academic year of 2013/2014, Nur Wachid was obliged to dedicate himself for a full year, in order to practice the knowledge he had received during his study. At that time he was placed in dedication in Gontor 5 Banyuwangi, which is a modern boarding school which is also a part of Gontor 1. He dedicated during the dedication period as a counseling section (ri'ayatu-ath-tholabah).

Finally he completed 1 year of dedication and get a diploma. Now he decides to carry on in higher education at Sunan Ampel UIN with a major in Al - Quran and Interpretation.
